Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Can't find what you're looking for? Call either branch and we'll help — Scarborough 416-291-3232, Mississauga 416-291-8282.
How much does it cost to send a parcel?
It depends on where it's going, how you want it sent, and the weight. Call or WhatsApp either branch and we'll give you a price straight away.
How long does delivery take?
Air Express — approximately 10 working days. Air Standard — approximately 20 working days. Sea to Sri Lanka — approximately 3 months. Sea to India — approximately 4 months. These are approximate. Customs clearance and local delivery can vary, so we don't guarantee exact dates.
Will my family have to pay anything when it arrives?
No — your family pays nothing. If any item carries duty, we work it out and tell you here in Canada before it ships, and you settle it with us at drop-off. That's why it matters to tell us exactly what's inside. If high-value electronics or duty items aren't declared and turn up later, the shipment can be held until it's sorted out.
Can I send electronics?
By sea to India or Sri Lanka — yes. By air to Sri Lanka — yes, with a surcharge that varies by device, collected here in Canada. By air to India — no items containing lithium batteries.
What can't I send?
There's a full list of prohibited items — nothing flammable by air, no alcohol, tobacco or medicines by any route, and some items are restricted to sea cargo only.
See the full listWhat is a container cutoff?
Sea cargo travels by container. We fill a container with parcels heading to the same destination, and the cutoff is the last day we can accept parcels for it. Miss the cutoff and your parcel goes on the next container. Current cutoff dates are always shown at the top of our website. Air cargo departs weekly, so there's no container to wait for.
Do you collect from my home?
Yes — pickup is free. Call either branch to book and we'll agree a day and a time window with you.
Do you pack for me?
For full house moves, yes — we can arrange packing as part of the service. For regular parcels, please pack your own boxes before drop-off or pickup. We do offer wrapping at $5 per box to protect your boxes on the journey.
How do I track my parcel?
We give you a tracking number when you drop off. Call our landline or send us a WhatsApp message any time with your number and we'll tell you where your parcel is. Please note we can't take WhatsApp calls.
Do you sell boxes?
Yes — $10 each if you collect from either branch, or $15 delivered to you. Our boxes are double-walled and rated for sea cargo. That matters: your parcel gets stacked in a container with weight on top of it for months at sea. Ordinary boxes soften and collapse under that — ours don't. Sizes: Small 16x16x16", Medium 22x16x16", Large 24x18x18", Large plastic tote 28x19x16"
Do you handle full house moves?
Yes, and we move households within Canada as well as overseas. For India and Sri Lanka we handle everything — packing, shipping, customs and delivery to the door. Call us for a quote over the phone; we don't need to visit your home. For other countries we ship port to port.
Where are you located and when are you open?

How is weight calculated for air and sea?
Both air and sea cargo are charged on whichever is greater — the actual weight on the scale, or the volumetric weight, which is the space your box takes up. A large light box takes the same room as a small heavy one, so we charge for the space it uses. For example, a Large box filled with bedding might weigh 12kg on the scale, but its volumetric weight is 25.4kg — so it's charged at 25.4kg. Pack heavy items in smaller boxes and light bulky items loosely, and it usually works out cheaper.
